Emily Dickinson, 515

Der is in pine - sa ekstreem -
Dy slokt substânsje op -
Bedekt de Ofgrûn dan mei Trance -
Mei’t it Unthâld syn stap
Der lâns - en oer - en op set -
As in Fersuftenien -
Dy’t feilich giet - wêr’t in wach each -
Him falle liet - Bien foar Bien -

There is a pain - so utter -
It swallows substance up -
Then covers the Abyss with Trance -
So Memory can step
Around - across - opon it -
As One within a Swoon -
Goes safely - where an open eye -
Would drop Him - Bone by Bone -
